Orientation Day 2023

“My Dear Newly Admitted Polymer Engineering Students,

Assalam o Alaikum and I hope you and your families are doing well.

I am Dr. Asif Ali Qaiser, Professor and Chairman of Department of Polymer and Process Engineering (PPE), UET Lahore, and I welcome you to PPE Department and World of Wonders of Polymers! As we are meeting on Monday, 24^th July on Orientation Day, I would like to highlight a few important things to make your day fruitful and productive.

1. You will be arriving at UET Gate#3 where Student Ushers will guide you to your respective departments. The PPE Department is straight from Gate#3 right at the junction of UET Main Boulevard and E/W road.
2. Your seniors from Society of Polymer Engineers and Technologist (SPET) will receive you at the Department and guide you up to the ceremony venue (Departmental Library).
3. The ceremony will start at 11:00 A.M. and comprises of Introduction of the department, faculty and curriculum, Employer and Alumni meetup/interaction, Labs visit and a light refreshment.
4. You may roam around the campus and may visit central students’ offices such as Senior Warden, Scholarships, Career Services, Directorate of Students Affairs (DSA), all located in Admin Building, and also visit many students’ societies stalls at Main Library to nurture your extracellular talent. The SPET seniors and UET Ushers will be all around to guide you anywhere.
